President's Message
The Canadian Imaging Trade Association has represented
companies involved in the manufacturing, importation, and distribution
of imaging and related products throughout Canada for over 51 years. To
better understand the dynamics of the Canadian imaging market, CITA and
its members share in the collection and analysis of data relating to the
importation, sales and marketing of imaging products in Canada.
CITA has been instrumental in education and transition to digital
imaging, and has added new categories of trade to the data-management
process along with digital still cameras. The value of the data is high
on the list of criteria for successful marketing… used in product
development, new model introductions, and inventory forecasting.
Yet, CITA is much more than simply facts and figures. We are actively involved in the growth and success of the imaging industry, and are committed to promote imaging in all facets: from hobbyists to delicate scientific work. Our work within the industry is aimed at enhancing goodwill, harmony and respect within all members of the industry. From the Annual General Meeting through to the Warren Winkie Charity, CITA continues to contribute to the industry and the community alike.
